Gustavo A. Gubel
ARCHITECT

Gustavo Gubel, one of Silverlake's most notable architects, is renowned for his emphasis on clean lines, large expanses of glass, and artistic use of natural materials. By combining concrete, hardwoods, and carefully chosen natural stones, Gubel creates contemporary yet warm spaces, influenced by Rudolph Schindler, John Lautner and Ray Kappe, whom he studied under at the Southern California Institute of Architecture ( SCI-ARC). Gubel was honored to have his residence featured in the American Institute of Architecture's highly prestigious " Hills of Silver Lake" tour.

Many of Gubel’s other works have been published in leading media outlets, and featured in commercials and feature films. A native of Argentina, Gubel has designed residential and commercial buildings throughout the United States, Argentina, and Uruguay. Some of Gubel's most iconic creations are on display in Los Angeles, including the Hollywood Hills, Pacific Palisades the Santa Monica Mountains.
